People often ask me what I do for a living.
I answer that I decode.
I decode the neurotypical working world for autistic job seekers and the autistic world for non autistic employers and colleagues.
…a bit about me …
I offer just over fifteen years’ expertise in the fields of employment preparation, workplace coaching and employability training for people with autism.
I bring, every step of the way towards employability, the full range of my professional skills as well as the knowledge gained from my wide-ranging experience across several sectors of social services, together with my expertise in the areas of diversity and social inclusion.
I approach my work with
my ability to listen to the other over and above the label
a creative and encouraging approach to developing autonomy
my commitment to a practice which respects each individual’s pace
my professional skills and versatility to support success in employment whether as an employee, an employer or a freelancer.
